Beloved longtime Kansas City actress Dodie Brown dies at 90

“The people in the audience haven’t just watched me perform for years, they know me,” the actress once said. “It’s just a lot of good friends.”
She performed on many stages and was the figurehead at New Theatre & Restaurant in Overland Park. She starred in “On Golden Pond,” comedy.
