I think I already said that I don’t like the fact that most of the new docs have zips. Until know, it was nothing but a superstition. I was convinced that it won’t last as long as my older docs (without zips). Yesterday, my fears went real, and my left boot’s zip died while I was just walking my way to lunch. I bought them only one year and a half ago, and they weren’t too small at all ! I took good care of them, but, apparently it was not enough. As you can see, the zip is dead …. I did my best to walk with that during the rest of the day, but it really annoys me. I’m going to the shoemaker tomorrow, hoping he would be able to fix it, but I’m afraid of the price. It may cost me more than a new pair. I bought that one on sale, but they were not supposed to die that early !
